Customer Reviews: Jawbone Icon Headset - Excellent clarity and ease of use but frustrating fit! May 4, 2010 RCC (San Diego, CA USA) The Jawbone 60-5296-05 Icon Blutooth Headset that I've been using for several weeks now is, in my opinion, and the opinion of those who hear it, EXCELLENT for clarity and ease of use. Unfortunately, it continually falls out of my ear w/o the earloop, no matter how many of the ear pieces I try or how I try to insert it (them). With the earloop, it still falls out of my ear but at least it doesn't fall on the ground. I rate it five (5) stars for clarity, external noise suppression, and operational ease of use. Unfortunately, only one (1) star for fitting in my ear . . . .In short, fit is frustrating. I am a seasoned citizen and our ears grow all our life, so perhaps the manufacturer didn't think of larger ears. Looking for advice if anyone has any.

I have own every Jawbone to date and this is the first one that I am very diappointed in because it disconnect in a middle of a conversation or does not stay connected!
Best Bluetooth set available! March 4, 2010 techsavvy (toodanghot USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As revolutionary as the iPhone is to smartphones, the Jawbone ICON is to Bluetooth headsets. The ease of use and sound quality is excellent. What makes this a breakthrough item, is it's ability to be much more user interactive, and customizable.
Most stunning and useful, is the icon in the iPhone menubar, with a power level meter! That alone was enough for me to consider purchase. I got tired of my Plantronics Discovery 975, just giving me a few beeps when it was about to die... I have retired the 975.
The Jawbone ICON is very lightweight, no more over-ear loop (unless you want it). It fits very comfortable in the ear, more comfortable than the Plantronics did.
With the "Mytalk" web site, you can change the name of the headset, change voices, and even change what app you want it to launch. It comes default with "voicedial", and I have chosen to use that. Several others are options, and they are developing more to come. Making the changes and mods is simple, just USB sync to your computer, and in little time, your changes are applied. Easy.
Congratulations to the folks at Aliph, for putting the R&D into making this new model, far above anything else out there. They've taken a lot of care and time to get things as smooth as can be. Clearly, they consider the customer use, time, and satisfaction, to be top priorities. Thank you Aliph, Way cool!
