Its a good set-has everything u need to replace the glace-more stuff than they show. Its came fast, easy to change (with youtube). Thanks a lot!
 Great Repair Kit, but use a better screwdriver August 19, 2010

This kit was great. It had everything I needed to replace the glass on my iPhone 3G. I did well following instructional videos on youtube, but the screwdriver was actually stripped by the screws on the iPhone!
I ruined my iPhone because I broke the LCD putting too much pressure trying to compensate for a horrible screwdriver. This may not happen to you as only one got stuck. But is it worth it? Plan ahead and get a good screwdriver to use with this kit.

I am a very impatient person but I set out in this task knowing that ipods are difficult to dis-assemble after having broken a few in the past trying to know what I was talking about. I did a quick youtube search and I had it done 100% in about 2 hours. It is well worth it I had forgotten what it was like to have a fresh looking iPhone

I was very skeptical about replacing my iPhone's broken screen myself, as I was aware of the fact that it voided the warranty and if something went wrong and the screen stopped working I was basically screwed. I decided to do it anyway, and am very glad that I did. This package came with everything you need, and a few things I didn't even touch. Now the process isn't easy.. I had a friend who worked as an Apple Genius for years take it apart and disconnect & reconnect the wires. He left if up to me to pry the broken glass from the frame - which was no cake walk, mind you. I had to use a blow dryer and a straight edge razor (and I also managed to need the guitar pick that came with this package). That was time consuming, tedious, and kind of stressful.
Frustrations aside, this is a worthwhile buy. The glass has a slightly different feel to it and is maybe a teeny bit thicker, but the touch sensitivity wasn't affected at all (trust me, I play Bejeweled Blitz like its going out of style)
Just keep in mind what you're getting yourself into, and be very, very careful. And for the love of god be careful with the screws. They are the size of a freakin grain of sand.
